Biography

Maggie Gardner's scholarship focuses on criminal law, international public law, and their intersection. She received her A.B. cum laude in history from Harvard College and her J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she served as a Supervising Editor of the Harvard Law Review. Ms. Gardner practiced as a litigation and appellate associate with WilmerHale LLP in Washington, D.C., before completing a year-long fellowship with the Appeals Chamber of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon under the direction of President Antonio Cassese. She has also clerked for the Honorable Michael H. Simon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and the Honorable Sandra L. Lynch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
