Direct Legislation: In Search of a Unifying Theory
The dissertation attempts to develop a coherent legal model for the law of direct legislation, a.k.a. initiatives, in the United States. The model attempts to conceptualize the initiative institution and articulate accordingly the legal implications, in theory and method, of the essence of direct legislation.
