Built in 1840, the yellow wooden house, known simply by its address, is the latest HLS building to undergo a large-scale renovation. In 2006, upgrades to the existing structure were enhanced with the construction of a modern addition that added much-needed space while maintaining the appeal of the original structure.
23 Everett is currently home to the Berkman Center for Internet and Society; the Legal Aid Bureau; the offices for Major Capital Projects; the newly-founded Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology and Bioethics; and the Program on the Legal Profession.
