H: (Home Drive) mapping – Please use the following steps to map your H: drive:
Note: if you have the old H: drive location mapped to the H: drive, you will need to disconnect it. Click here for instructions on disconnecting network drives. Also, if you have a fixed drive such as a DVD or a 2nd hard drive mapped to H:, simply choose another drive letter.
Note: <username> should be replaced with your Harvard Law School username (this is what you would use when you initially log on to your computer)
Note: you will not have access to this drive until you connect via Harvard's VPN.


Note: Once mapped, you can also access the share if you double-click on the My Computer icon
H: (Home Drive) mounting – Please use the following steps to mount your Home drive:
cifs://hlsusers.law.harvard.edu/<username>
Note: <username> should be replaced with your Harvard Law School username

Note: If you have the old home server address, cifs://140.247.200.162/Home or cifs://hlsnas1a.law.harvard.edu/Home, listed in your favorites, select it, and click Remove.

Note: A mounted network drive will appear on the desktop
