Saturday,November 21st, 2009

  • Site cleaning activities will take place.
  • Work will begin at 9am per the City of Cambridge Noise Ordinance.

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

  • No work will take place on Thursday, November 26th, in lieu of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Site Activities

  • Concrete pours are scheduled for Tuesday, November 24th and Friday, November 27th, weather permitting.
  • Steel erection and precast installation will continue throughout the week.
  • Fireproofing activities will continue throughout the building.
  • Tarps will continue to be installed on the exterior of the building.
  • Waterproofing activities will continue on the ground floor this week. The kettle will be placed on the south side of the site. Minor fumes may be noticed.
  • All HLS deliveries are to use the temporary loading dock which can be accessed via Massachusetts Ave. just north of Pound Hall.  Police details are in place to assist with any HLS deliveries overlapping with construction trucks entering the WCC site.

Harkness Work

  • Miscellaneous mechanical demolition and mechanical work will take place behind the partition wall in Harkness this week.

NW Yard utilities project update

  • Pipe welding operations will continue in the utility tunnel.

Police details will be present during the daily activities to insure pedestrian and vehicular safety.
