Students studying in library

The Wasserstein Hall, Caspersen Student Center, Clinical Wing project will bring together modern classrooms, social and community-building activities and clinical education.

The Timetable

Construction on the Wasserstein Hall, Caspersen Student Center, Clinical Wing project began in June 2007.  The first step was to move three wood-framed buildings - Baker House, Carriage House and the Ukrainian Research Institute - north on Massachusetts Avenue, near North Hall.  In the summer of 2007, the Everett Street parking garage and the Wyeth Hall dormitory were demolished.

In the Fall of 2007 construction began on the underground parking facility and once this is well underway construction will begin on the WCC building – scheduled for completion in about three years from the start of construction. Steps are in place to mitigate disruption on campus from the noise associated with a major construction project, with particular emphasis on buildings such as Pound Hall, which are close to the site.

We look forward to working with Harvard Law School...at this important gateway to the University, capturing the spirit of this great institution and honoring its diverse architectural heritage from the time of H.H. Richardson forward.
