The Northwest Corner will bring
together modern classrooms, social and community-building activities and
clinical education. |

Construction on the Northwest Corner began in June 2007. The first step was to move three wood-framed buildings - Baker House, Carriage House and the Ukrainian Research Institute - north on Massachusetts Avenue, near North Hall. In the summer of 2007, the Everett Street parking garage and the Wyeth Hall dormitory was demolished.
By Fall of 2007 we began to construct an underground parking facility and once this is well underway we will begin to build the Northwest Corner building – scheduled for completion in about three years from the start of construction. Steps are in place to mitigate disruption on campus from the noise associated with a major construction project, with particular emphasis on buildings such as Pound Hall, which are close to the site.
