MAGGIE BRUCK
Maggie Bruck received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from
McGill University in 1972. Since that time, she has been a prominent
researcher in the fields of language acquisition, learning disorders,
and the autobiographical memory and suggestibility of children.
She has co-authored a number of peer-reviewed articles and one book
on this subject with Dr. Stephen Ceci of Cornell University. Their
book Jeopardy in the Courtroom: A Scientific Analysis of Children's
Testimony was awarded the William James Prize by the American
Psychological Association. Dr. Bruck presently is at Johns Hopkins
University, Division of Child Psychiatry.
