Located in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, the WilmerHale Legal Services Center (LSC) is a general practice community law office founded nearly 30 years ago as a clinical practice program for Harvard Law School students. Delivering high quality, civil legal assistance, and handling up to 1,200 cases every year, LSC is the largest in-house clinical placement of Harvard Law School. The Legal Services Center's diverse clinics provide clinical instruction to second and third year law students and serve as a laboratory for the innovative delivery of legal services. LSC students are taught and mentored under the supervision and guidance of clinical instructors and fellows in one of the Center's litigation or transactional clinical practices. In addition to its academic year clinical program, LSC also operates a summer program for law students to gain experience in legal services.
