At this time, the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic is taking predominantly asylum-based immigration cases. If you believe you have a case that the clinic should consider, please email hirc@law.harvard.edu. Be advised that by the beginning of September, the clinic generally has a full caseload.
If the clinic accepts your case, students will take the lead and perform the majority of the work, under the supervision of experienced attorneys. HIRC does not accept employment-based immigration cases.
There are a number of other legal services organizations, advocacy groups, clinics at law schools, and law firms in the Boston area which also provide assistance to immigrants. Listed below are just a few of these organizations.
You can search the American Immigration Lawyers Association database for a lawyer in your area and with expertise on your legal concern by clicking here. In addition, a few private law practices in the Boston area are listed below. Check each law firm's website for their particular areas of expertise.
