Students at HIRC receive intensive instruction and close supervision. They meet regularly with clinical supervisors, typically for one to two hours each week of their clinical assignment. Supervisors audit students’ interviews with clients and carefully involve students in decisions about strategy. As a general rule, clinical supervisors extend major responsibility for cases to students, with regular guidance and feedback.
