About HMP

HMP's overall mission is to enhance the experiences of Harvard Law School students and other members of HMP by providing diverse opportunities to learn, practice and teach mediation, and to serve the community by promoting effective mediation services.

This mission is accomplished by student board members elected to fulfill a variety of roles, community members, and HMP's liaisons, who supervise new mediators and provide a constant presence in and connection to the courts that HMP serves. HMP is guided by experienced and dedicated staff members and the Director of the Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program.
