About HMP

HMP's overall mission is to enhance the experiences of Harvard Law School students and other members of HMP by providing diverse opportunities to learn, practice and teach mediation; and to serve the community by promoting effective mediation services.

This mission is accomplished by student board members elected to fulfill a variety of roles,  community members, and HMP's liaisons who supervise new mediators and provide a constant presence in and connection to the courts that HMP serves.  HMP is guided by experienced and dedicated staff members and the Director of the Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program.
