The Center provides legal representation on a reduced fee basis to service area residents with gross annual incomes below about 300% of federal poverty income guidelines. People with gross annual incomes and assets below 187% are not typically charged a fee for the services.
The Center’s fees are below market rate and based on the hours typically required to complete the case. In some cases, the fees are based on a percentage of any court award or settlement. The fees help maintain the Center’s current resources and services while expanding services to people who are ineligible for free legal services but unable to afford market rate attorney fees. The Center accepts checks or money orders but no cash payments. |
