Essential to our effectiveness on your behalf is your cooperation & participation as follows:
- Inform your attorney, paralegal or law student of address and telephone number changes, including where you normally can be reached during business hours;
- Inform your attorney, paralegal or law student of significant changes in your circumstances or any occurrences that relate to or have impact on your case;
- Attend scheduled appointments or call your attorney, paralegal or law student, in advance, to change the appointment;
- Promptly provide information and documents requested by your attorney, paralegal or law student and anything else that might be important to the case;
- Respond to telephone calls and letters from your attorney, paralegal or student;
- Refuse to speak with an opposing attorney, if contacted, but immediately notify your attorney, paralegal or law student; and
- Discuss any communications between you and the opposing party with your attorney, paralegal or law student, including settlement offers, before accepting them.
