There are circumstances under which you or the Center may terminate the representation before the case is completed. You may decide not to pursue the case or ask the Center to stop representing you at any time.
Some examples of why the Center may seek to terminate its involvement in a case are: 1) inability to contact client; 2) client refuses to obey a court order; 3) client asks us to commit fraud or other illegal act; 4) client insists on pursuing a meritless claim, defense or an action that may subject the Center to court sanctions; or 5) client materially misrepresents financial circumstances to obtain our services. |
