Sarah joined the staff of the Center in 2005 as a Skadden Fellow. She works with the Domestic Violence Clinic to implement the Passageway Health Law Collaborative, a medical-legal partnership between the Center and the Passageway Program of the Brigham & Women's Hospital. The Passageway Health Law Collaborative provides holistic advocacy to survivors of domestic violence. Prior to coming to the Center, Sarah served as law clerk to Justice Judith A. Cowin of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Sarah received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2004 and, while a law student, worked in the Center's Family Law and HELLP Units. Before attending law school, she spent four years working in the national women's rights movement at the Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) in Washington, D.C. At FMF, she helped to develop and lead a campus leadership and activism program for college students nationwide. Sarah received her B.A.in Psychology and Women's Studies from Duke University in 1997.
