Libby Benton joined the Center’s Housing Unit in 2011 as a Skadden Fellow. Ms. Benton received her juris doctor from Harvard Law School in 2011, where she was a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and chaired the Bureau’s Foreclosure Task Force.
Upon graduation, Ms. Benton was awarded a Skadden Fellowship to provide legal services to low-income tenants and former homeowners facing eviction after foreclosure. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Benton worked as an aide to Congressman Sander Levin of Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2006 with a BA in Political Science and English.
