Michael Gregory

Lecturer on Law and Senior Clinical Fellow in the Special Education/Trauma and Learning Policy Initiative Clinic

mgregory@law.harvard.edu, 617.390.2550

Michael received a Skadden Fellowship in 2004 to work as an attorney in the Trauma and Learning Special Education Project in the Family and Children’s Law Unit.  Michael became a Senior Clinical Fellow in September 2006 when his Skadden Fellowship was completed. As a clinical student at HLS, Michael spent three semesters working at the Center—two in the Family Unit and one in the Community Enterprise Project.   Through his work with Family Law clients, Michael observed the lingering effects that witnessing domestic violence can have on children.   Long passionate about education issues and working with young people, the Trauma and Learning Project will give Michael the opportunity to ensure that childhood survivors and witnesses of domestic violence have their special learning needs addressed in the classroom.   Michael received a Bachelor of Arts in American Civilization from Brown University in 1998, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Brown University in 1999, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2004.
