Attorneys from Goodwin Procter will provide a workshop relating to the considerations involved in the decision to form a nonprofit organization, the mechanics for the formation, and the legal framework for organizing and operating a 501(c(3)organization. Students may be able to work on pro bono projects following the training with local attorneys. This is great opportunity if you are looking to start your own nonprofit or do this work pro bono in the future.
