How Students Can Join PLAP

To join PLAP, you need to complete 12 certification forms to enter the Massachusetts state prisons (each prison requires their own original copy). The forms are very simple and must be submitted by the fall deadline date even if you don't plan on joining until the spring semester.  If you don't submit the forms in the fall,  you will only be able to do office hours if you join in the  spring.

PLAP's only other requirement is that you commit to an hour each week to assist inmates via the hotline and answer inmate letters during office hours.  It will be the same time every week.  You will be supervised by a 2L or 3L.  OFFICE HOURS BEGIN OCTOBER 5.
