June 18	- Early add/drop deadline for Fall Government Lawyer and Securities Regulation clinicals
August 2	- Early add/drop deadline for Fall Role of Attorney General clinical
August 23	- Fall Independent and Continuing Clinical applications due
September 1	- Fall classes begin
September 3	- Add/drop ends for fall clinicals and winter or spring clinicals with a fall class. Clinicals dropped after this date receive a Withdrawal transcript notation (fall clinicals, fall-winter clinicals, fall-spring clinicals, winter or spring clinicals tied to a fall class).
September 6	- Holiday (Labor Day): No courses, Clinical and Pro Bono office closed
September 7	- Fall clinical work begins
September 17	- Last day to change Fall clinical credits
September 20-24	- Fly-out week: Students excused from clinical work
October 8	- Reflection essay 1 due (externship students)
October 11	- Holiday (Columbus Day): No classes, if placement is closed students must make up hours missed
October 19-22	- Winter and Spring clinical registration on MyPlan
October 19	- Winter independent clinical applications due - Domestic winter travel grant applications due for independent clinicals
October 25	- Winter and Spring clinical registration results posted
October 29	- Mid-semester supervisor evaluations due
November 5	- Reflection essay 2 due (externship students)
November 8	- International winter travel grant applications due to the International Legal Studies office
November 11	- Veterans' Day: Classes in session. If placement is closed, students must make up hours missed.
November 19	- ITA Pros Supervisor's mid-semester evaluations due
November 22	- Domestic winter travel grant applications due for continuing clinical or clinical course students.
November 25-26	- Holiday break (Thanksgiving): Students are expected to work regular clinical hours this week and must make up hours missed
December 3	- Fall clinical work ends - Add/drop ends for Winter clinicals and Spring clinicals with Winter classes. Clinicals dropped after this date receive a Withdrawal transcript notation (winter clinicals, winter-spring clinicals, spring clinicals tied to a winter class). - Winter continuing clinical applications due - ITA Prosecution supervisors: Mid-semester evaluations due - Reflection essay 3 due (externship students)
December 7	- Fall classes end
December 10	- Final supervisor evaluations due for fall clinicals - Independent clinical final papers due for fall clinicals
Dec 21 - Jan 2	- Holiday break
January 3	- Winter clinical work and classes begin
January 14	- Spring independent and continuing clinical applications due - Add/drop ends for spring clinicals. Clinicals dropped after this date receive a Withdrawal transcript notation.
January 17	- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: No classes. If placement is closed, students must make up hours missed.
January 19	- Winter courses end (clinical work continues) - Winter reflection essay due
January 21	- Winter clinical work ends
January 24	- Spring classes and clinical work begins
January 28	- Independent clinical papers due for winter clinicals - ITA Criminal Prosecution supervisors: Final evaluations due - Supervisor final evaluation of student due for winter clinicals
February 4	- Final day to change spring clinical credits - Student evaluations of Fall clinicals due (online)
February 18	- Reflection essay #1 due (spring externship students)
February 21	- Holiday (President's Day): Classes in session, if placement is closed students must make up hours missed
February 28	- Student evaluations of Winter clinicals due (online)
March 11	- Pro Bono paperwork due (3Ls) - Mid-semester supervisor evaluations due
March 14-18	- Spring Break: Students excused from clinical work

Clinical and Pro Bono Programs

Set up an advising appointment online. Students are encouraged to come in and meet with a staff member to discuss possible clinical and pro bono projects.
