In this reading group, we will analyze and discuss certain important Supreme Court opinions that have been issued since 2005 when John Roberts became Chief Justice. In the six meetings, we will focus on some leading decisions within six particular areas of the Court's post-2005 jurisprudence: war powers, freedom of speech and religion, equal protection, Fourth Amendment, federalism, and separation of powers. We will also look ahead to the Supreme Court's 2014-15 Term.
Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor is required. If interested, please send a resume to email@example.com by Friday, June 20.
Note: The reading group will meet on the following dates: TBD.
