Constitutional and Health Law: Reproductive Rights

This reading group will explore a number of issues central to reproductive rights. Our reading will include both legal and non legal sources. Each of the six meetings will be devoted to a different topic, for example: birth control and sterilization; termination of pregnancy; regulating and controlling women during pregnancy; artificial reproductive technologies and genetic testing; and surrogacy. Students will participate in leading each meeting, which hopefully will include a lively and informative exchange of views on the many difficult, controversial issues we will consider.
