Career goals: In the short term, I hope to acquire transactional experience while practicing corporate and securities law in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Mainland China. In the long-term, I hope to be a prominent expert in M&A/Capital Markets in Asia.
I was born, raised and schooled in Hong Kong. Prior to Harvard Law School, I obtained my law degree from the University of Hong Kong, where I completed the joint-degree program in Law and Business Administration.
Growing up in one of the world’s leading financial centers, I was always hearing or reading about corporate transactions, IPOs and M&A deals on television and radio and in the newspapers. Against that background, I developed an interest in corporate transactions and, later, in corporate law.
I chose HLS for three reasons: first, HLS has a world-renowned reputation as the best law school in the common law world because it attracts the best professors and students; two, an experience at HLS provides the necessary training to its graduates who frequently become leading lawyers in their chosen fields of practice; and third, HLS is an excellent venue for expanding one’s intellectual horizons.
Therefore, HLS is the “must go to” law school for all serious corporate law “lovers”.
