Career goals: Practice law and policy-making in international trade, finance and investment

My thought process in deciding where to do my LL.M. was guided by the search for an academic institution that would not only nurture my intellectual and professional development but also enhance my personal growth. The LL.M. program at the Harvard Law School is renowned for providing world class and thought-provoking education. But learning is not confined to in-class settings. What is unique about this program is its careful and deliberative selection of extraordinary candidates from countries around the world. With a student body whose diversity all but replicates the global community, my friends and I enjoy the rare opportunities to engage with, learn from and debate with people from more than 70 countries around the world. It is this celebration of diversity and cultural pluralism that helps us to understand our differences and more importantly, to turn these differences into opportunities to work together. I see among us future leaders in many different spheres, and believe that the experience here will be one of the defining moments in shaping our values and worldviews. I am proud to be part of the program.
