Career goals: Tax Attorney

My experience at HLS has been truly amazing. I decided to pursue an LL.M. at Harvard because I wanted to specialize in taxation. HLS’s tax concentration program was able to offer the diversity of courses that I needed to sharpen my tax thinking while at the same time maintaining a close-knit environment between students, faculty and the general Harvard community. In terms of personal experience, the HLS community is truly international. Not only have I met students from over 66 countries, but there are also plenty of opportunities to travel to other parts of the world while studying at HLS. For example, during spring break in March 2008, I was a member of the delegation of the Harvard Asia Law Society to visit Hong Kong, where we met with legal and political leaders. In sum, I feel very privileged to be part of the HLS Class of 2008.
