The breadth of the courses available at the Law School leaves you spoilt for choice. One course that I particularly enjoyed was the Negotiation Workshop. The course introduces students to different negotiation theories and provides opportunities for students to put this into practice through simulations. I found it very useful to try out different negotiation strategies and determine what worked best for me.
Being a member of the Harvard community provides you with a plethora of opportunities to build on your knowledge, both academic and extracurricular. Everyday is an enriching learning experience as you study alongside students from over 60 countries and hear about their national legal traditions. There are also many opportunities to discuss contemporary issues and interact with distinguished professors and guest speakers at Harvard.
Despite the large number of students at the Law School, there is a strong feeling of belonging and solidarity within the tightly knit LL.M. community. Many of us have made friendships that will stand the test of time. It is your fellow students in the program, together with the academic and extracurricular opportunities offered by the University, that make the LL.M. year such a wonderful experience.
