Cross-Registration
Cross-registration into courses offered by other schools is a good way to explore subjects not offered by the Law School without enrolling in another degree program. Regular JD students are permitted to count up to 10 credits of courses taken at other Harvard schools, the Fletcher Schools of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts, or the Massachusetts Institute of Technology toward their JD degree requirements; LLM students may count up to 6 such credits toward their degree requirements. (Cross-registration is not permitted at schools other than those listed above.) Students must cross-register through the Law School for such courses. Students should consult the Law School's Registrar's Office for further information on cross-registration.
