Coordinated JD/PhD Program
The Law School has also established an exciting new coordinated degree program with the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS). Students in the program, which leads to a JD and a PhD, will spend five rather than six semesters at the Law School and pay just five semesters of law school tuition. JD/PhD students have enrolled in PhD programs in the Economics, Government, History, and Health Policy departments of GSAS, and other GSAS departments are also participating in the program. For more information, see the JD/PhD Program Summary. The Law School has established a new financial assistance program for eligible students pursuing a JD/PhD. Details are available in the JD/PhD Funding Summary. Additional questions about the JD/PhD coordinated program may be addressed to Julie Barton, HLS Joint and Concurrent Degree Adviser and to Rise Shepsle, GSAS Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.
