ITS is excited about the technologies we offer our community. From a robust wireless network to easy-to-use web templates, the ITS team has established an environment where technology is continuously enhancing the teaching, learning, and working experience. Our goal is to research the best technologies, implement them, and maintain them so they continue to be effective and useful tools for the HLS community. We are always researching new technology offerings and identifying ways in which technology can help the faculty, staff, and students of Harvard Law School.
Over the past year, ITS has ambitiously implemented some new technologies that significantly contributed to the teaching, learning, and working environment. These technologies included creating a completely wireless enabled campus, upgrading our network so that it is faster and more robust, implementing an on-line teaching platform called MyHLS, moving the housing lottery so it is web-based, and modifying each classroom so students and faculty can teach and learn in a comfortable, technology-rich atmosphere.
We gladly accept the challenge that technology is continuously evolving and understand that our efforts need to focus on new and innovative ideas. We welcome these up-and-coming technologies and genuinely look forward to working with our community on identifying and implementing new technology solutions.

- MyHLS / iCommons Partial Outage, Saturday April 12
- On Saturday, April 12, 2008 between the hours of 4:30 AM and 9:00 AM, there will be a scheduled, partial outage for the MyHLS/iCommons system in order to conduct infrastructure upgrades. [Wed, 09 Apr 2008]
- MyHLS: Scheduled "Library Reserve Reading List" Tool Outage, Sunday March 2
- The Reserves List system will be down for 8 hours during this Sunday's (3/2/08) regular maintenance window for an operating system upgrade. [Thu, 28 Feb 2008]
- MyHLS / iCommons Partial Outage, Saturday Feb. 16
- On Saturday, February 16, 2008 between the hours of 1:00 AM and 1:00 PM, there will be a scheduled, partial outage for the MyHLS/iCommons system in order to conduct infrastructure upgrades. [Thu, 14 Feb 2008]
- Intermittent Network Problems
- HLS is currently experiencing intermittent problems with network connectivity on our wired and wireless networks. ITS and FAS are working on the problem and we will update the network status line at 8-4874 as more information becomes available. [Wed, 12 Dec 2007]
