No More ITS RSS News Feeds
With the migrations of the ITS web content to the new content management system the ITS News RSS feed has been taken off line. We will continue to post news on our site, but it will not be an RSS feed for the time being. We will continue to send emails to the community about planned outages. ITS Closed on July 4; Partial Coverage on July 7
ITS and the Student Lab in the basement of Hauser Hall will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2008. On Monday, July 7, 2008, ITS will be attending its annual all day summer outing. There will be reduced coverage that day. The Student Lab will be closed. If you run into a problem on Monday needing urgent attention, please call the help desk at 495-0722. Otherwise, we will be back on Tuesday, July 8, and will be happy to assist you then. Thank you.
MyHLS / iCommons Partial Outage, Saturday April 12
On Saturday, April 12, 2008 between the hours of 4:30 AM and 9:00 AM, there will be a scheduled, partial outage for the MyHLS/iCommons system in order to conduct infrastructure upgrades.
MyHLS: Scheduled "Library Reserve Reading List" Tool Outage, Sunday March 2
The Reserves List system will be down for 8 hours during this Sunday's (3/2/08) regular maintenance window for an operating system upgrade.
MyHLS / iCommons Partial Outage, Saturday Feb. 16
On Saturday, February 16, 2008 between the hours of 1:00 AM and 1:00 PM, there will be a scheduled, partial outage for the MyHLS/iCommons system in order to conduct infrastructure upgrades.
Intermittent Network Problems
HLS is currently experiencing intermittent problems with network connectivity on our wired and wireless networks. ITS and FAS are working on the problem and we will update the network status line at 8-4874 as more information becomes available.
ITS Student Help Desk and Hauser Lab Thanksgiving hours
The ITS Student Help Desk and Hauser Lab will be closed as of Wednesday November 21st at 5:30 PM for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen Monday November 26th at 8:30 AM. VPN Upgrade
For all those that use the VPN Client to securely connect to the Harvard Law School network while off campus, there is a new client that must be installed to ensure continued connectivity. To continue being able to use VPN securely the new software must be installed by Friday, July 20th. Older versions of the VPN client will not work starting on Monday, July 23rd.
MyHLS Outage Saturday June 9th
On Saturday, June 9, 2007, between the hours of 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM, there will be a scheduled MyHLS/iCommons system outage for infrastructure upgrades. No service will be available during those four hours.
Student Help Desk and Hauser Lab Summer Hours
The Hauser Student Help Desk and Computer Lab will be closed on Monday, 5/28, in observation of the Memorial Day Holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday morning at 9 AM.
