- Email Outage 2/29, 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- There will be a CAMail outage between 5am and 9am this Sunday morning due to networking work.
- E-mail service outage 2/26/04, 11:28am
- HLS lost connectivity to UIS mail services due to a power outage in a UIS border gateway router. Temporary power has been restored but we may experience a similar brief outage when normal power is restored.
- UIS Blocking All Executable E-Mail Attachments
- Effective March 1, UIS is blocking all e-mail with executable attachments, including files ending with .vbs, .bat, .exe, .pif and .scr. Mail with these attachments will be returned to the sender with a brief explanation. Normal data files such as PDFs, spreadsheets and word processing documents will be delivered normally. - Ames Hall Network Back 2/14/04 9:15pm
- Ames network is back online. FAS had to replace multiple pieces of bad hardware in the network device. Ames network was report down Saturady afternoon. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time. FAS network personel are investigation. 2/14/04 3:28pm.
- Blackboard Server Scheduled Update 02-15
- Blackboard will be unavailable this Sunday from 7am - 9am.
- Network instability resolved 2/18/04
- Web mail performance problems (Imp and SMMS)
- You may experience sporadic problems with long delays and slowness when using the Web mail programs Imp and SMMS. Click on the link for more details. UIS will be rebooting servers at midnight, Tuesday night, 2/10 in order to address some of these problems. At that time there will be a 10 minute CAMail service interruption.
- Network Outage, Updated 2/11/04
- Additional Network outage happen last night at 5pm effecting access to CAmail, VPN and Internet services. This problem was resolved early this morning 2/10/04 2am) with a reboot of the FAS border router. The cause was a bug in the Hardware and Software of both the FAS and UIS network routers.
- CAMail Interruption Planned for 2/15
- On Sunday, 2/15/04, from 5 am to 7 am, CAMail will be unavailable. During that time UIS will upgrade one server and install an additional server in order to increase their mail processing capability. Mail will be queued for delivery after service is resumed and no mail will be lost.
- ITS Fileserver Failure
- Fileserver service was partially restored at 4pm and fully restored at 5:15pm. You should now be able to access network folders normally.
