Training
ITS has begun to leverage outside resources for HLS technology training needs rather than dedicate staff resources for this function. All staff now receive training for all standard software applications, with the exception of those that are HLS specific, though these outside sources. The outside sources are the Center for Workplace Development (http://harvie.harvard.edu/learning/cwd/) and New Horizons (http://www.newhorizons.com).
The Request Process:
All staff software training requests, for which ITS does not provide direct training, are referred to Human Resources. HR will help you select and sign up for the proper course. In some instances, HR will help with the cost of the course.
