LEFA (Lifelong Email Forwarding Address)

ITS is pleased to offer all J.D. and LL.M. students with an additional email account. Called a LEFA ("leaf-a"), or lifelong email forwarding address, this email account will make it easier for you to stay connected to your classmates and everyone else in the HLS community.

You can immediately begin using your LEFA account to send and receive email (configuration instructions below), although your existing @law address will also work through July 31st of the year you graduate.   Your LEFA will not expire, but instead will become a forward only account that can be used to send email to an alternate email address (e.g. Yahoo or Gmail).

Adding Your New Email Address to the MyMail Web Client

NOTE: When you configure MyMail with your new email address, you will be able to SEND AND RECEIVE email from both your new email address and your @law email address (i.e. rharvard@jd10.law.harvard.edu and rharvard@law.harvard.edu).
