I am pleased to unveil the inaugural issue of HLS Brief - - the place to reconnect with HLS and fellow HLS alumni. In this issue you will learn about the launching of the Law School’s new Public Service Venture Fund and hear from our faculty on topics as diverse as an innovative new problem solving course, the representation of professional athletes, the economy and issues facing the Presidency. Please direct your attention to HLS Connect, the Law School’s online alumni directory. To date more than 8,000 alumni have registered and I encourage each of you to register and reconnect with the Law School community. HLS Connect creates the unique opportunity for alumni to serve as advisors to current HLS students sharing valuable career advice and expertise. HLS Brief is designed to capture the essence of Harvard Law School and to highlight news of our global alumni community.
