April 11-13, 2014
Classes of 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009
Over 700 alumni and guests returned to Cambridge on April 11-13 for our Spring Reunion Weekend 2014, bringing together the Harvard Law School Classes of 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009 to celebrate with classmates and friends. During the Reunion, alumni engaged in an exciting selection of lectures, panels, receptions, dinners and tours.
Reunion Weekend began with class visitations and tours of the new Wasserstein Hall, Caspersen Student Center, Clinical Wing building (WCC), followed by a thought-provoking keynote by Professor Annette Gordon-Reed '84 on "Law, History and the Enslaved Family." Saturday featured individual class symposia, a conversation with Dean Martha Minow on challenges and opportunities, past and present, at HLS, and a keynote presentation by Professor Cass Sunstein '78 on "Constitutional Personae."
On both days, alumni listened to wide-ranging panel discussions with HLS faculty and alumni leaders in law, public service, human rights, criminal justice, the judiciary, institutional investing, business and entrepreneurship.
Attendees also enjoyed class dinners, class photos, a gathering of the 1817 Society, and the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and enjoy the Law School's new Courtyard.
