HistoryThe Oliver Wendell Society was created in 1994 to recognize those alumni and friends who have included the Law School in their estate plans and/or those who have established a planned gift to benefit the School. It carries the name of one of Harvard’s most distinguished graduates. Justice Holmes also taught at the Law School before serving on the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the United States Supreme Court. | MembershipIf you have made a gift to the Law School that you think qualifies you for membership in the Holmes Society, we encourage you to contact Harvard Law School's Planned Giving staff at |
