  • Bernard Koteen Office of Public Interest Advising
    The Bernard Koteen Office of Public Interest Advising (OPIA) covers the public sector -- including nonprofits, government, all types of public international work, and private public interest law firms -- and fellowships.
  • 1L Advising
    1L Advising is a joint program of the Bernard Koteen Office of Public Interest Advising (OPIA) and the Office of Career Services (OCS) focused on helping first year students get oriented and comfortable with the 1L job search process.
  • Public Service Venture Fund
    Beginning in 2013, Harvard Law School’s Public Service Venture Fund will award $1 million in grants every year to help graduating Harvard Law School students pursue careers in public service. The first program of its kind at a law school, the fund will offer “seed money” for startup nonprofit ventures and salary support to graduating J.D. students who hope to pursue post-graduate work at nonprofits or government agencies in the United States and abroad.
