About OCS

Our Services

The Office of Career Services provides a wide range of services for HLS students and alumni to help them attain their professional goals, including:

  • Individual counseling to students and alumni. Our advisors, all of whom have law degrees and years of actual practice experience can help you assess your career goals, identify potential employers and assist in other practical aspects of your job search.
  • Unparalleled access to potential employers including the largest on-campus recruiting program in the country. We offer three on-campus recruiting programs: our Early Interview Program (EIP), Fall Interview Program (FIP), and Spring Interview Program (SIP). We also manage an online Job Bank exclusively for the HLS community.
  • An extensive website covering a vast range of topics from exploring practice areas, to judicial clerkships, to advice on re-entering the market as an alum. Our articles, podcasts, webcasts, links, and two blogs: Hire Ground and The Bench, provide fast, convenient and timely advice to the HLS community.
  • Comprehensive career development programs including an annual Private Sector Career Forum, alumni webinars and mock interview programs aimed at educating students and alumni in a wide range of career topics. Our programs explore numerous legal practice areas and settings, professional development, the practical aspects of a job search, and how to succeed on the job.
