Participate in OCS Special Programming

Throughout the year, OCS hosts several interactive events that allow students and practicing attorneys to meet and connect in more profound ways. These events provide an excellent chance to increase your firm’s brand visibility on campus.  

1L Interactive Programming Series

The 1L Interactive Programming Series is offered in the fall and involves two programs:

• Masterclass: The Art of Mingling: This program is designed to introduce first-year students, to the techniques that will allow them to be successful on the job and during the interview process. Law firm representatives and students participate in an informative program about navigating networking events. Following the program, participants have the opportunity to interact via a networking reception that allows the students to learn more about sponsor firms while practicing their newfound skills.
• The 1L Mock Interview Program: This interactive workshop will provide students with an opportunity to get real feedback from practicing lawyers on how to refine their interview skills. It will also allow students to interface with representatives from your firm and enable firms to continue to develop visibility on campus within the 1L class.

Regional Legal Market Mixers

The Regional Legal Market Mixers draw attorney representatives from firms in a variety of target geographic regions to allow students to meet and greet attorneys, learn about potential employers and begin building valuable relationships. The Regional Legal Market Mixers are hosted in the spring semester for the following geographic regions: New York, Washington, D.C., Northern and Southern California, The Midwest, Texas, the Southeast and Boston. These events require a sponsorship commitment.
