Estimated 2013 Summer Earnings Web Form

The purpose of this form is for you to provide us with an estimate of your expected earnings from all employment sources during the summer of 2013. Summer for rising 2Ls and 3Ls (continuing students) is defined as the period between the LAST day of spring 2013 exams and the FIRST day of fall 2013 classes. Our initial assessment of your student contribution from income in preliminary financial aid award offer, which you will receive in July, will be based on the earnings information you provide to us via this form. Please try to estimate your income accurately so that our calculation of your student contribution reflects the best data possible.

At the end of the summer, we will ask you to update your final summer income information via our Summer Update Web Form. You will also need to provide us with ACTUAL paper copies of your final summer pay stubs from all your employers to further document your earnings. We will use this information to recalculate your student contribution from income and finalize your financial aid award as part of our fall review process. More information about this process will be sent to you via email in August.

In order to avoid significant delays in finalizing your 2013-2014 aid, it is essential that you save your final pay stub from each employer.  In addition, if you know that you will not be receiving pay stubs from your employer (or if your pay stub(s) DO(ES) NOT show your total gross earnings to date), please have your supervisor write a letter on official company stationery that lists the number of full-time weeks you were employed, your total gross weekly salary, and your total gross summer earnings. Students who are doing volunteer work also need to get a letter from their employer(s) that states the number of weeks they were employed and the fact that no wages were paid.

We ask that you complete this form once you have finalized your summer employment plans but no later than the 2013-2014 Financial Aid Application Deadline of April 30, 2013.
