SPIF Application Form

To initiate your participation in the Summer Public Interest Funding program you must you must first review the SPIF Orientation. At the end of the Orientation you will find a link to the 2013 Application Form which must be completed by December 21, 2012. If you apply for SPIF by the December deadline you are eligible for funding and should begin the process of securing summer employment. Those students who complete the SPIF Application will be notified via email once future forms become available.  

SPIF Response Form

Once you accept a summer public interest job you must complete the online SPIF Response Form. In order to receive funding on May 1, you must submit the online Summer Funding Response Form and the Employer Response Form by March 29, 2013.

SPIF Opt-Out Form

If you accept a non-summer public interest job you must complete the online SPIF Opt-Out Form in order to remove yourself from the SPIF email lists.

Employer Response Form (PDF)

Your employer must complete the Employer Response Form to verify your employment information. The Employer Response Form must be submitted by March 29, 2013 in order to ensure funding for May 1. This form should be sent directly to the SPIF office via fax, email or mail; contact information is listed on the top of the form.

Student Placement Evaluation

At the end of the summer all SPIF recipients are required to complete an evaluation of their placement; this online form is due September 1, 2013 for SPIF purposes. However, if you are participating in the Early Interview Program (EIP) you should complete the the evaluation prior to beginning to interview. You will receive an email with the link to the online evaluation at the end of the summer. Failure to submit the evaluation will result in the forfeiture of your entire SPIF award.

Supervisor Evaluation and Time Log (PDF)

ALL students receiving SPIF funds must submit a Supervisor Evaluation and Time Log in order to verify their total number of hours worked throughout the summer. The Supervisor Evaluation and Time Log will be available online at the beginning of the summer and is due September 9, 2013. Failure to submit a complete Supervisor Evaluation and Time Log in September will result in the forfeiture of your entire SPIF award.
