Inauguration Day 2009

Harvard Law School was proud to celebrate the inauguration of President Barack Obama '91 on January 20, 2009. A celebration was held in the Harkness Commons for the entire student body. Hundreds attended as the HLS alum was sworn in as the nation's 44th president. Special posters were hung showcasing President Obama's yearbook photos from his time at HLS.
