• Law Review - August 7, 2011, 7:00 am - 11:00 pm
• Resident Assistants - August 8, 2011, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
• 2Ls / 3Ls - August 11, 2011, 9:30 am-4:30pm
• LL.M. and S.J.D. Students - August 22, 2011, 9:30 am-4:30 pm
• 1Ls - August 23, 2011, 9:30 am-4:30 pm

We are unable to accommodate any requests for move-in dates earlier than those listed above.

Academic Recesses

• Labor Day (Holiday for 1L Students Only) - September 5, 2011
• No Classes for 1Ls - October 5th, 2011 - October 7th, 2011
• Columbus Day - October 10, 2011
• Thanksgiving Break - November 23, 2011 - November 25, 2011
• Holiday Break for All Students - December 21, 2011 – January 2, 2012
• Martin Luther King Day - January 16, 2012
• Spring Break - March 12, 2012 – March 16, 2012

The residence halls do not close during academic recesses listed above; however, many other administrative offices including the Dean of Students Office and the Facilities Management Office may be closed. Langdell Library and food service in Harkness Commons may have reduced hours or be closed. Call the Dean of Students Office with questions at 617.495.1880.

Spring 2012 Move Out

• Non-Graduating Students - May 11, 2012 by 5:00pm
• 3L and LLM Residents in Shaw Hall move to different dorm - May 11, 2012
• Law Review Competition Extension - May 22, 2012 by 5:00 pm
• Graduating Students - May 25, 2012, by 5:00pm
