Program Objectives

Designed specifically for exeperienced partners taking on management roles. The program offers participants perspective, concepts, management tools, and skills to help them be successful as emerging leaders in law firms. It is designed to assist these emerging leaders by reviewing the challenges they face and sharpening the skills necessary for their leadership role. The program will cover the following topic areas:

• Strategy and Marketing—supporting development, strategic positioning, business development, and creating a differentiated client service experience

• Negotiations—applying state-of-the-art negotiation theory to strategy and complex deal making

• Leadership and Management—taking charge, leading teams, motivating and developing professionals, and leading change

Participants will develop a thorough and holistic understanding of the challenges facing, and the skills and perspectives required of, emerging law firm leaders.
