The Learning Model

Case studies, lectures, classroom discussions, and small group discussions focused on law firms and other professional service firms will afford participants the opportunity to discuss the determinants of sustained firm success and effective leadership in such organizations.

The sessions will help participants work through possible approaches to the issues that confront partners with leadership responsibilities in professional service firms. Participants will reflect on, and discuss effective leadership in the face of real life challenges in professional service settings.

The program offers participants perspective, concepts, tools, and skills to help them be successful as emerging leaders in their law firms.

Participants in the program will develop a practical understanding of critical business and leadership frameworks and how they can be applied effecively in a challenging market.

CLE and CPD Credit

Harvard Law School Executive Education is accredited by the NY State CLE Board.  Several states will accept New York certificates of attendance for CLE credit.  Please check with the individual that handles these matters in your firm and/or your state bar as to whether a New York certificate will satisfy your obligations.  You may earn up between 35-38 CLE’s for participating in Leadership in Law Firms or Emerging Leaders in Law Firms.

Additionally, Harvard Law School Executive Education is an External CPD Provider authorized by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (for UK participants).  Our CPD provider reference is: DQE/HLSE.
