The response to the first-ever Harvard Law School Executive Education one-day colloquia covering critical topics for law firm and corporate counsel leaders was overwhelmingLeading During Challenging Times  was held January 24-25, 2013 at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, UK.  It was the second event in a colloquia series which brought together leaders of the top global law firms and corporations.
The Colloquium for Law Firm Leaders was attended by law firm leaders from Europe’s top global firms.  Led by Professors Ashish Nanda and HBS Professor Mihir Desai, attendees discussed the conditions for sustaining personal and professional success through changing times. The Colloquium for Corporate Counsel Leaders hosted general counsel and chief legal officers of the world’s leading corporations, and covered such topics as critical relationships between the general counsel, the board and the CEO; the general counsel’s role in compliance and ethics; and customer-centric leadership.  Discussions were led by Professors Ashish Nanda and HBS Professor Mihir Desai. The event featured topics “The Future of the Euro,” Corporate Governance in an Integrating World,” and “Critical Relationships: The General Counsel, the Board and the CEO.”
