I served as Acting Assistant
Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel in the United States
Department of Justice (and then following my tenure, as a consultant to the
office). In that capacity, I worked on a number of legal issues, some of
which pertain to courses I teach or things I write or speak about. The
details of this work are confidential, but some opinions I signed in my
capacity as Acting Assistant Attorney General are published on the Office of
Legal Counsel's official website. There may be other official documents from
my tenure, such as filings in FOIA litigation, that
are publicly available as well. |
