This is
a new section, and we haven’t prepared an outline for it yet. We would
like to have a freewheeling discussion of the documents that we have studied
so far as “sources of law.” Think about the New Testament, Aethelberht’s and
Gundobad’s “codes,” and the Collection in 74 Titles as “law.” Do they seem a
little odd to you as “law”? What’s missing? What’s there that shouldn’t be
there?
