Readings focused alternately on English legal tradition and on the Roman-canonical tradition. Topic for 2014–15: the English legal tradition. Short papers analyzing texts will be required but not a research paper.

Note: Offered jointly with the Law School as Law 2371.

Prerequisite: Some Latin required.
